Camps
Camps promote the physical, social and emotional well-being of our students.
Cluster wide programs enable students to develop social skills with age peers through peer-mentoring and role modelling, teamwork and citizenship with a focus on developing the whole student. These opportunities include:
- Annual Windorah Sports Camp (held in Term 2)
- Cluster sports days, including: Wally Rae Small Schools Sports Day, cluster swimming carnivals, gala sports days/clinic
- Combined school camps- In 2022 we attended Capricorn Caves in Rockhampton and Great Keppel Island in Yeppoon.
Excursions
Excursions are planned to enhance curriculum delivery. Children from prep to year 6 participate in excursions regularly throughout the year. Excursions are timetabled into the school calendar and permission and payment details are issued each term.
